Meet Greg.
And why he refuses to leave the humans unsupervised.
Greg is an emotional-support geode and self-appointed observer of human creatures.
He studies their habits, documents their questionable decisions, and occasionally recommends water, food, rest, or abandoning whatever ridiculous plan they made while operating at 10% battery.
Greg does not judge.
Greg does, however, take notes..
Why Greg Exists
Greg the Geode is more than just a geode.
To me, Greg is that little voice that shows up when my battery is running low.
Not to shame me.
Not to tell me I'm lazy.
Just to quietly remind me that I am still a human.
Sometimes that reminder sounds like:
"Day three no shower..... Greg thinks perhaps its time to stop bed-rotting and go stand in the sunshine"
Do I always listen?
No
Does Greg stop showing up?
Also no
Greg has observed that humans are wonderfully stubborn creatures.
He'll patiently sit on his little rock, clipboard in hand, waiting until you are ready.
Greg doesn't expect perfection.
He just hopes you will be a little kinder to yourself than you were yesterday.
After all....
Humans have existed for a very long time.
They are still chaotic.
Greg still finds this endlessly fascinating.
